Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m the owner and resident artist at Lakeside Studio Gallery in the charming village of Bath.
I opened the doors to the gallery with my mom back in November 2020 and while there were challenges to opening in the middle of the pandemic, we have seen the community rally around us in spectacular fashion!
We specialize in connecting novice and seasoned art collectors with emerging local talent. Our artists create bright, invigorating paintings that are inspired by the beautiful scenery around us and our relationship to it. Each of us works in a range of media and we’re always looking to create something new.
I personally started painting last summer as a way to recover from grief and my art has completely changed my life.
My favourite part of owning the gallery is chatting with people who come in just to see what’s new about everything from art to grief to life on the lake. I also love to work with you to create custom commissioned pieces.
I primarily create landscapes and abstract work and have painted local landmarks for villagers and family cottages for those who can’t visit them right now.
