Maple In The County is traditionally the official spring opening of Prince Edward County, but Ontario travel restrictions mean that while we can welcome our locals and some visiting friends, others are waiting for the numbers to turn. In an effort to promote local tourism, the providers behind this awesome festival have decided to forego the usual gatherings and launch a take-home version for the 2021 season, so everyone can enjoy the glory of County maple in a safer way.
This year’s opening event will look different, but taste the same.

2021 Maple BagsLook for $40 take home Maple Bags available at official Maple In The County sugar shacks. These bags will include 500ml bottles of syrup, maple candy, maple cookies, maple popcorn, maple pancake mix, a taffy-on-snow making kit, colouring books, recipes, and maple trivia.
