Lonelle Sips wine on a patio

From The Editor's Desk

Lonelle Selbo dedicated much of her pre-County career pushing the limits of print as the editorial director of some of Canada’s most provocative fashion & lifestyle magazines.

With a couple of decades of experience managing media and communications across various industries, she worked her way up the mastheads to hold leadership positions in publishing, including Editorial Director of YYZ Living Magazine, Executive Editor of Lush Magazine, Managing Editor at Müdd Magazine and Editor-in-Chief at Passion Magazine and Urban Mommies Magazine. In between there, somewhere, she joined eLearning company, SwissVBS, where she wrote, produced and led teams to create multimedia educational programs that would train diverse teams—from surgeons learning how to use new equipment to a Swiss university’s post-graduate business programs, to wealth management education on Wall Street, to training for executives and elite sales teams for global corporations. She also served as the Director of Communications for Portland Stewart and RK Canada and sits on the board at The Regent Theatre in Picton.

“I’m a keener and I love doing things, seeing things, trying things, and making things.”

In 2017 Lonelle pushed the ultimate boundary, moving all-in to Ontario’s best kept secret (at the time)—Prince Edward County.

A compulsive contemplator, sketcher, and jotter, Lonelle aims to master as many trades as will have her and work with other great keeners to make something greater than the parts’ sum. She loves cats, dogs, foxes, and most ducks, everything “Fall”, ancient apple orchards at dawn, bonfires at dusk, and moments when it’s more meaningful to hold hands than talk.

She worships the simple and complex lines that make up people’s faces, thrills at bringing someone to life on a piece of paper, and furiously believes that the individual is the most important line item on history’s roster.

LIFE AU LAIT is Lonelle’s newest brainchild and platform for her capture of the talent, beauty and true magic that is ‘The County’.
